| The
Luxe Laboratory – featuring Plain & Fancy Custom Cabinetry. |
Robert
Verdi’s Luxe Laboratory, AKA the Luxe Lab, is an innovative
venue for displaying and marketing the best of today’s
luxury brands for the home. The Lab occupies a stunning 3400
sq. ft. loft on the 13th floor of an art deco building at 247
West 30th Street, Manhattan. Impressive as the building is, the
big draw (aside from Robert himself) is the collection of luxury
brands – displayed in context – to create a seamless
total experience, designed to stimulate the style senses.
Brands that have been invited by Mr. Verdi to participate in the
Luxe Lab include T. Morton & Co. Custom Wood Flooring, Kohler
fixtures, Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances, Hunter Douglas window treatments
and, you guessed it, Plain & Fancy Custom Cabinetry. The Plain & Fancy
Cloister doorstyle is featured in the kitchen, library and bar
area. The finish is “Ebonized” Maple – an extraordinary
example of a classic doorstyle going to town – uptown, that
is. |
